Safety and Security Agent

Job Description

The Safety and Security Agent is responsible for providing protection and communication with hotel guests and employees. He/she is also responsible for patrolling hotel premises to maintain security, detect and report fires, security and safety hazards and/or violations of the Hotel’s rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or previous safety and security
• At least one year of safety and security experience in a hotel
• Able to communicate in a professional manner in English, Spanish, Papiamentu & Dutch, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner
• Flexible with working hours (able to run night shifts)
• Ability to work with Computer applications/Software and CCTV reviews

Physical requirement

• Ability to stand during the entire shift
• Ability to climb and descend stairways and run
• Ability to physically deter individuals who pose a threat to employees and/or guests
