Are you commercially strong, analytically savvy, and do you have a keen eye for market trends? Then this is your chance! As Category Manager (Catman) at our retail company, you will be responsible for compiling, optimizing, and maintaining multiple product groups to maximize value for both consumers and the organization. You will be responsible for purchasing and therefore share responsibility for the commercial results of the assigned product groups. Catman is entrepreneurial and manages the buyers for your product group(s). The focus is on the product range, pricing and promotional policies, and introducing new products.

Your profile
– University or college work and thinking level with a background in business economics or commercial economics;
– At least 3 years of work experience in a similar position within retail or a comparable industry, preferably in Curaçao;
– Experience with Excel and ERP systems;
– Knowledge of the local market;
– Product knowledge
– Fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written; Papiamento is a plus;
– Excellent organizational and communication skills;
