What will you do?
As a buyer you are responsible for managing the flow of goods of assigned product groups. You will ensure that our inventory levels are maintained by purchasing efficiently and working directly with our suppliers and in-house teams. You will place and track orders and ensure proper processing, from invoice verification to price matching. Your main duties include:
– Placing orders of products on time according to schedule;
– Enter and track orders in our purchasing system;
– Maintain strong relations with our suppliers regarding shipped orders;
– Creating a clear overview of pending orders;
– Place special and urgent orders when necessary;
– Keeping the supplier records up to date with all relevant information.
What will you bring?
– At least an mbo level 4 or equivalent working and intellectual level, obtained through either education and/or experience in a similar function or industry.
– Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook);
– Minimum 3 years of experience with inventory management and purchasing systems, obtained through experience in a similar role;
– Strong analytical skills with attention to detail;
– Independent and proactive with a problem-solving mindset;
– Fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written. Spanish is a plus.
