Building Depot is looking for an motivated Full-Time Handyman to help maintain our store, facilities, and equipment while ensuring a safe, clean, and professional environment. Are you practical, technically skilled, and enjoy working with your hands? Do you like variety and take pride in keeping things running smoothly? Then we are looking for you!

What will you do?
As a Handyman in Building Depot, your responsibilities will include:
– Assembling furniture and showroom displays.
– Performing general maintenance and minor repair work throughout the store and surrounding facilities.
– Installing shelves, displays, signs, and other store fixtures.
– Moving and setting up furniture and store equipment.
– Assisting with store renovations and department layouts.
– Identifying and reporting maintenance and safety issues.
– Ensuring the store and work areas remain safe, clean, and well-maintained.
– Providing practical support to other departments when needed.

What do you bring?

– MBO level of education or equivalent work experience.
– Previous experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or in a similar technical role is an advantage.
– Good technical skills and experience using hand and power tools.
– Able to work independently with strong problem-solving skills.
– Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy items.
– Flexible and willing to work outside regular business hours when required.
– A proactive attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
