Nut House is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Shop & Sales Employee with proven experience in retail, sales, hospitality or another customer-facing position. You enjoy helping customers, giving advice and creating a welcoming atmosphere. You are confident when speaking with customers, take responsibility for your work and are looking for a position where you can stay and grow for the longer term. Product knowledge and coffee preparation can be taught. Experience in customer service, sales and working responsibly is something you already bring.
What will you do?
- Welcome and advise customers
- Help customers choose the right products
- Contribute actively to sales and excellent customer service
- Operate the cash register
- Keep the shop clean, stocked and inviting
- Occasionally prepare coffee for customers
- Assist with opening and closing the shop
What do we expect from you?
- At least one year of relevant experience in retail, sales, hospitality or customer service
- A stable employment history and references that can be checked
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- A reliable, proactive and responsible attitude
- You are looking for a long-term position
- You speak at least two of the following languages: Dutch, Papiamentu and/or English
- You are available for opening and closing shifts between 07:45 and 18:15, Monday through Saturday
- You are available to work in Mahaai and/or Santa Maria, depending on the roster
