What Your Day Looks Like
As a sailor (deckhand), you are part of the onboard team responsible for daily operations. Your day is active and varied:
- You assist with preparing the boat and ensuring everything is ready for departure
- You welcome and support passengers throughout their experience
- You help maintain safety on board and follow procedures when needed
- You work closely with your team to keep operations running smoothly
- You stay alert, practical and hands-on throughout the day
No two days are exactly the same but the goal always is: a safe, enjoyable experience for every guest.
Who You Are
This role is not for everyone. It requires the right mindset and physical readiness.
You are someone who:
- Brings a positive, flexible attitude to work
- Communicates easily with both guests and team members
- Enjoys working outdoors and staying physically active
- Feels comfortable working in a dynamic, sometimes busy environment
- Takes responsibility and works well in a team
Must-haves:
- You speak English (Dutch and Spanish are a strong plus)
- You are physically fit and comfortable working on the water
- You have swimming skills (rescue swimming is required)
