JOB PURPOSE
Harbor Hotel & Restaurant Curaçao & Royal Casino Curaçao is looking for a creative and driven Marketing Specialist to strengthen our online presence and attract guests both local and from around the world. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies — with a strong focus on social media content, online advertising, event promotion and international brand awareness.
Your goal is to showcase our hotel, restaurant, and casino as a vibrant destination in Curaçao through engaging storytelling, trending content, and consistent brand visibility across all major platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
• Develop, implement, and manage the company’s social media strategy across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Create and publish engaging, high-quality content (photos, videos, stories, and reels) that highlight the unique experience of Harbor Hotel, Restaurant & Casino Curaçao.
• Organize, promote, and manage on-site and online events, such as themed nights, entertainment activities, special dinners, and casino promotions.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth event execution and maximum exposure.
• Monitor trends, hashtags, and viral opportunities to ensure content remains relevant and appealing.
• Manage social media advertising budgets and track performance through analytics tools.
• Engage with followers, guests, and influencers to build an active online community and encourage positive reviews.
• Analyze data and provide regular reports on marketing and event performance, audience reach, and ROI.
• Maintain brand consistency across all digital channels, events, and promotional materials.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in social media management, event organization, and digital marketing, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry.
• Experience with tools such as Canva, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and TikTok Ads Manager.
• Excellent writing skills in Engliss, Dutch and Papiamentu.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and advertising tools.
• Creative eye for photo and video content creation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for hospitality, travel, and guest experience.
