Chief System Operator – Zipline Crew
Job Description
Are you ready to lead the crew behind the longest and fastest zipline in the ABC islands? At Hofi Mango Nature Park in Curaçao, we’re looking for a Chief System Operator who combines a love for adrenaline, nature, and people with strong leadership skills.
In this role, you’ll lead, train, and coach our team of Zipline Operators — ensuring safety, smooth daily operations, and a top-tier guest experience. You’ll work hands-on in the field, while also taking charge of planning, coordination, and team performance. Every day is an adventure, and you’re the one steering the flight.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead the daily zipline operations on-site
- Train, coach, and supervise Zipline Operators
- Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures and protocols
- Handle daily planning and team scheduling
- Be the go-to person for operational issues and guest escalations
- Contribute to a motivated, positive and high-performing team culture
Who You Are
- A natural leader with excellent people and communication skills
- Not afraid of heights – comfortable working at 30 meters / 100 feet
- Experienced in training or supervising teams (preferably in outdoor, tourism or hospitality roles)
- Physically fit and able to work on your feet in the sun
- Speaks excellent English and Dutch (Papiamentu or Spanish are a bonus)
- Holds a valid driver’s license
- At least 18 years of age, with a high school diploma
- Able to present a clean police record upon hiring
